Q. How do you divide up housing assignments?
A. We arrange rooming by gender and grade. We do take into consideration special circumstances if needed.
Q. How many leaders will be at each home?
A. We typically have 2 leaders at each home.
Q. Does my child need extra money?
A. No. The price of this weekend is all inclusive. Your child may wish to bring extra money for snacks along the way if they so choose. But we will have food, drinks, and snacks provided throughout the weekend.
Q. What should my child pack?
A. Please bring a bible, a pen, a journal, a pillow, toiletries, a towel, a sleeping bag, and of course, clothes for the weekend. Please leave behind your technology. iPod’s and cell phones are not strictly prohibited, but since these things tend to isolate students from each other and distract, we strongly discourage their presence on all Hub trips and events.
Q. What if my child has special needs?
A. Please speak with us upon registration with regards to any medical and/or dietary considerations. We will do our best to accommodate all special requests.
Q. Will my child sleep this weekend?
A. Yes! Of course, some of that will depend on your child, but we do ensure students will have time for rest.
Q. What does the Ignite schedule look like?
A. The Ignite schedule varies from year to year, but it typically looks something like THIS.
Q. How do you teach students from 6th to 12th grade?
A. We believe God’s truth applies and blesses across all ages and levels of understanding (Psalm 19:7). That being said, we do focus on topics and themes that are general enough for all audiences.
Q. What if I still have questions?
A. Email Emilie if you have any further questions.
